The Edison is a member of the Play Ball volleyball league sponsored by the Play Ball Foundation. 

Play Ball!’s mission is simple: provide middle school students with opportunities to play, build friendships, and build character through the lessons of sports – teamwork, communication and discipline. Girls in grades 6-8 who meet academic requirements are eligible to try out for the team during the Spring season.
