Their accomplishment earns the students a holiday from math homework on Monday and Tuesday nights, Principal Mary Driscoll announced over the weekend.
Starting last September, students in first through eighth grades have been participating in mathematics interactive activities through the First in Math website. In order to reach the one million problems mark, students averaged around 1,500 problems per student.
So if you ask your child if he or she has any math homework, and the reply is, "No," you'll know why! And make sure to congratulate them!
